I returned as Captain to this beautiful yacht and its Motor Launch M/Y Orn. Both yachts had been in dry storage for almost thirteen years! I supervised the extensive refit over a short period and have raced and cruised in the Baltic Sea ever since. S/Y Flica II and her racing crew of sixteen have succeeded admirably on the race course and I could not be prouder to be part of the team.

Assisted an old friend of mine to deliver his yacht from Gibralter to St Barthelemy in the Caribbean. We went via the Canaries and the Cape Verdes.

capacity of O.O.W. to prepare and deliver the yacht to Antigua

Employed to take care of Solitaire and her four crew in
Newport R.I. oversaw the last two weeks of the refit and
delivered the yacht to Savona in Italy. The owner and his
family joined us in Ibiza for a two week holiday. |

I was forcibly placed into temporary retirement. I did however,

Three month contract to deliver the yacht from Mombassa
to Malta where she undertook her five year survey.
Responsibilities included the management and delegation
of the crew and an active involvement in the navigation
of the vessel, through some entertaining waters. |
